Affiliate marketing is a great way of profiting online. But don’t take it so lightly because it is a really diverse field.  Not only are there innumerable products from which to choose from, there are also a variety of affiliate marketing structures in terms of how you get paid.  The straight commission plan that many connect with being an affiliate is only one of many prototypes of organization.

It comes by the name pay per sale.  Every time your traffic converts and makes a transaction, you get a hunk of the cash.  It’s a good system and it’s been working great for years.

Another method involves CPA.  CPA stands for “cost per action” and it essentially means that you, as an affiliate, get paid every time one of your visitors performs a certain action.  Although those tasks can vary greatly, the ideal example is probably ad-clicking.  You get paid when someone clicks on an ad of your site.  Finally, you have pay per lead programs.  In these situations, you get money every time a visitor finishes a particular task.  For example, you may get paid for everyone who registers for an advertiser’s newsletter.

Regardless of your preferred method, there are various ways to make real money with affiliate marketing.
